HOT DAYS NEED COOL BREAKFASTS - ICED VEGAN CHAI LATTE

This place inspires me in so many ways, not least with the food! I'm a big fan of coconuts and I'm having at least one fresh coconut per day. Yesterday we had breakfast in a place called Karma Kafe here in Koh Phangan, a new modern vegan rawfood resturant with a lot of specialities on the menu. Have a look at the beautiful dishes we had!

One thing I've never tried before is an iced vegan chai latte, like a chai-frappe. If you really like chai tea then you are going to love this twist on the classic version.

The naughty one...

Prepare a cup of organic chai in hot water and let it cool. You can also infuse a cinnamon stick in the tea for extra nourishment and a spicy kick.

Remove the cinnamon stick. Pour the cool chai tea, 1 cup (ish) organic coconut milk and ice into a blender, blend on full power until its all blended and has a nice top layer of froth, pour it into a jar or a big glass with some cinnamon on top!

And if you're a coffee lover and can't really choose between tea or coffee. Try the dirty verson (which is my favorite)

The same ingredients as the first one but with a shot of espresso added.
